Members Title I and Title II

 

Dear Maintenance and Related Contract Title I and Title II:

 Your Contract negotiations committee would like to have input for what you would like to see in the next contract proposal from the union.

I know retiree medical and full retro pay are very important but there may be other things you would like to see included. Please give all suggestions so they can be brought to the attention of the committee. As events unfold I will keep informed.

President's Message 8-26-10

    Thanks for checking in. The Fleet Committee met in Dallas Aug 23-24. We discussed the recent strike vote that was completed and the result was that 85% of the Fleet and Ground workers voted to continue to support the negotiating Committee's continued efforts to reach an agreement with the company, up to and including a strike. We continue to prefer to reach an amicable agreement and await the NMB and company's response.   

I have loaded the latest updates from the M & R results under the Negotiation Update Link above.  I will update you with any future meetings as they become available to me.

Remember that we have elections coming up in Oct and it is very important that you make sure that your address is correct here at the hall. We have elected the Station Election Committee Members and they are as follows:

  MCO - Glenn Vadney        ATL - Nancy Woods        BWI - Mike Dimonda        DCA - Eric Spencer        IAD - Tim Frye

I would like to thank them for stepping up and getting involved.

Please get with your Election Committee Member with any questions. The results of the nominations will be posted after the acceptance / decline time period has past. That is Sep 7th at midnight.
